The Influence of Cloud Kitchen Positioning in the Indian Market
Cloud kitchens, also known as ghost kitchens, have revolutionized the food delivery industry. These virtual restaurants provide customers with a wide range of culinary choices without the need for a physical dining space. In order to understand the impact of positioning on cloud kitchens in the Indian market, we conducted a comprehensive survey.
The objective of the survey was to gather valuable customer feedback and insights, and categorize the study under the 'Business & Marketing' research category. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing customers' decision to order from cloud kitchens, their preferences, and the challenges they face.
After analyzing the feedback from a diverse range of respondents, we have compiled the results in the form of a questionnaire. The survey consists of twenty thought-provoking questions, ranging from single-choice, multiple-choice, to open-ended questions.
We kick off the survey by exploring whether individuals order food from cloud kitchens. This question helps us gauge the familiarity and acceptance of cloud kitchens among the Indian population. The survey also addresses important aspects such as the prioritization of factors while ordering, considerations before choosing a cloud kitchen, the importance of vegetarian/vegan options, and whether consumers prefer known brands or independent ones.
We explore the timing of cloud kitchen orders throughout the day, the perceived convenience of cloud kitchens, awareness about the concept and operations of cloud kitchens, and the areas of improvement in the existing market offerings. Additionally, we touch upon any challenges faced in orders, willingness to try new brands, and the potential future outlook of cloud kitchens in replacing traditional restaurants.
