The Importance of Financial Literacy for Effective Budgeting Management
Budgeting is a critical skill that allows individuals to make informed financial decisions
and achieve their financial goals. However, many individuals struggle with managing
their budgets effectively. To understand the impact of financial literacy on budgeting
management, a survey was conducted among ABM students at Lyceum of Alabang.
The survey aims to explore the level of financial literacy among ABM students and how
it influences their budgeting practices. By analyzing the survey responses, we can gain
insights into the students' financial knowledge, sources of information, budgeting
habits, and challenges they face.
The survey consists of 20 questions ranging from single choice to multiple choice to open
ended questions. The questions cover various aspects related to financial literacy and
budgeting, including age, gender, sources of financial knowledge, employment status,
formal education on financial management, sources of income, common expenses, use of
budgeting tools, confidence in financial decision-making, investment habits, and more.
The survey findings will provide valuable insights into the financial literacy levels among
ABM students and their budgeting practices. This information can be used to identify areas
where students may need additional support and to develop targeted educational
initiatives that enhance their financial literacy.
By improving financial literacy, ABM students can develop effective budgeting
management skills, make informed financial decisions, and achieve their financial goals.
In summary, this survey on the impact of financial literacy on budgeting management among
ABM students at Lyceum of Alabang sheds light on the importance of financial education
and its role in shaping individuals' budgeting practices. The findings will be invaluable in
promoting financial literacy among students, helping them gain the necessary skills to
navigate the complex world of personal finance.
