The Impact of Work Immersion on Senior High School Students
Work immersion is an integral part of the Senior High School Curriculum, providing students with real-life workplace experiences in their desired fields. The goal of this survey is to understand the influence of work immersion on the knowledge, skills, and career preferences of Grade 12 students.
The importance of work immersion cannot be understated. It allows students to gain practical knowledge and skills that will be valuable in their future careers. Whether in a private or public school, a minimum of 80 hours of work immersion is necessary to ensure students acquire specific skills and knowledge.
One of the key objectives of this study is to determine how work immersion contributes to decision-making processes when choosing college courses. By immersing themselves in a real workplace, students can gain new insights and develop relevant skills that will guide them towards their desired career paths.
