Does the questionnaire customize your looks to mobile devices?

As much as possible. A dedicated questionnaire was created for mobile devices, which can be conveniently filled on all mobile devices such as a smartphone or a tablet. Detection of the device takes place automatically.

In the list of e-mail addresses for sending invitations, the following status appears next to the e-mail address: „The recipient has blocked the possibility of receiving invitations from the Startquestion system.”. What does this mean?

This status means that the person with the given e-mail address has given up receiving invitations to complete the survey. This could have happened during the current dispatch of invitations or on the occasion of previous distribution. This applies to all users of the Startquestion.com website.

After clicking the link to the survey, my respondents get information that the collection of results in the survey has been completed. Why?

Most likely, the survey has the status „Inactive”. Please go to the Survey Link or Summary page and click „Collect results”

I have finished the survey. Can I activate it again?

Sure. Just click „Collect results” again on the Link to the survey screen

I did not receive the results of my survey. They should be sent to the email.

Generating the results of your survey in extreme cases can take up to 30 minutes. This is due to the fact that the results are generated in the set order. If someone ordered to generate results in front of you, you have to wait for its results to be generated. It may also be that the results mail has been treated as SPAM. However, if you want to be sure if the file has already been sent to you, write to us and we will check it out immediately.   

I have exported the results to Excel, but all are displayed in one column. What to do?

After opening the csv file in Excel, select the column A in which all results are by default, select the Data tab and the Text as columns. Mark the source data type as Split and select the comma as delimiter.

How to correctly import the downloaded data into SPSS?

Export from the Startquestion site is able to two files: syntax and database. Open the SPSS file in the SPLOS file and select Run -> All, after which the .sav file will be generated. In the event of an error related to a non-found database file, enter the absolute path of the .dat file in the NAME variable. e.g. C: UsersAnnaDesktopdata-1234.dat

I have exported a list of tokens, but in Excel some tokens appear as eg. 7.50E + 17

This happened, because Excel automatically converts some strings to the „Scientific” format. To ensure that all tokens are displayed correctly, in step 3 of the wizard changing the text to columns, select the column with tokens and mark it as Text.
